studio introduction

Dr. Stephanie Meyer’s instruction advocates healthy vocal technique and music reading skills to a wide variety of students.  Her studio comprises of vocalists participating in UMKC Conservatory, Kansas City Symphony Chorus, KC Metro All-District and All-State Choir, Lyric Opera of Kansas City’s High School Honors Artist program, collegiate choirs, high school musical theater productions, garage bands and church music.

Applied Voice, studio voice lessons for major, minor, and elective students; including performance of songs and arias in English, Italian, German, and French.  Emphasis on continuing development of vocal technique.

University of Missouri - Kansas City, Community Academy of Music and Dance, Preparatory Voice Instructor, 2011-present

Private voice lessons for ages 12-adult, including classical and musical theater repertoire, an introduction to International Phonetic Alphabet, music reading and aural skills.  Students are strongly encouraged to perform on a public studio recital each semester.

University of Missouri - Kansas City, Conservatory in the Schools, Musical Bridges Voice Instructor, 2011-2017

One-on-one instruction and performance experience preparing students for university auditions.  Grant funded lessons take place in selected schools focusing on under represented populations.  Students are required to perform on a public recital each semester.
